Research shows that children do better when their dads are involved in their lives, but what about the precious time just after their baby is born?
Does dad being there for his baby and family in those beginning moments really matter? Whom does it benefit?
If a dad wants to ask his employer for paternity leave (also called parental leave in some workplaces), how would he do that? What’s stopping some dads from taking the time to be with their babies even when they have access to paternity leave? How can you help dads take that time?
We’ll answer these questions and more in an engaging webinar hosted by National Fatherhood Initiative® in partnership with Dove Men+Care and Promundo.Date: September 10, 2019
Time: 2:00pm EDT
FACT:
79% of US fathers say they would do anything to be involved in the care of their newborn. However, there are still social stigmas around men asking for paternity leave.*
What will be covered?
Representatives from each organization will come together for an engaging and enlightening webinar on the research around paternity leave, why it’s vital for dads, kids, and families, and how to help the dads you serve take the time to be with their newborns.
